I would go to MAC. As long as you tell them what you are doing, and making sure you let them know that you are not buying anything, they will appreciate that and just give you a quick touch up or the light make-up that you are looking for.Where can a guy go to get a light makeup on before a event?
Sephora or Mac. The dept stores are a bit busy and I guarantee they will over make you up (I've been there with my boyfriend and I speak from experience.) The sales girls at Sephora are GREAT and totally matter of fact about guys wearing makeup -- tell em what you want and they'll help you out.

The mall usually like Dept. Stores. At Nordstroms/Macys/Saks/Bloomingdales they all should have makeup counters like MAC, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, etc. Also try SEPHORA. You may want to call ahead, even if it is free.
