Is wearing light makeup considered haram during Ramadan?

First, makeup is NOT haram and these people should show you Quran or hadiths if they are saying it is (they cant). We are not supposed to over do it with anything not just make up. Light make up I see no problem with that bc their is nothing saying you cant. Eye kohl is even sunnah bc the prophet (PBU) used to wear it as well. But if you break your wadu and you have any on you will have to wash it off and redo.Is wearing light makeup considered haram during Ramadan?
I can't tell you clearly if it's Halal or not, but it's not good anyway in Ramadan even if you are married and it's only for your husband cuz you may encourage your husband to touch you or you attract him during fasting. You should not wear any make up during fasting either you are wearing hejab or not.Is wearing light makeup considered haram during Ramadan?

but excessive makeup is wrong, becuase it means that your intention is to attract men





but my ustazah said, it is okay for a woman to wear makeup to keep her husband (she has to beautify herself so that her husband wont leave her for another woman)
If your wearing it outside the home It is not recommended let alone in the month of Ramadan. However if you are inside then no problem, but not excessive.

Well, you should be wearing hijab. So, you shouldn't beautify yourself so that people won't look at you, that's the purpose of hijab.
It is haraam to wear makeup outside for Muslim women. I think makeup is haraam anyway in Islam because you are altering your body that ALLAH(SWT) made for you and because makeup has chemicals in it that can harm your skin and body. You should be covering up if your a Muslim woman or girl when your outside and when you are around strange men.
