NEVER! match your outfit to your makeup! lol for a green dress, black, i usually dont advocate black cause so may women think its there only option but black would go well, also dark brown(mascara), eyeshadow, blues, greys, pale simmery white in the corners of your eyes, it will make them look bigger, a natural look would be perfect for the big day, painted would not be the best way to get married an example

Golds would look great and browns. What color eye do you have that matters big time
wear light green eyeshadow kind of a pastel color
Light dusty pink blush and lip color, champagne gold eyeshadow.
Please DO NOT match your makeup with your clothes. You want to match your makeup to you skin tone and eye color..never your clothes. Matching you makeup with your dress will look ridiculous. You want your makeup to complement your face...bring out eye color, bone structure of your face, etc. I would suggest going to Sephora or the Clinique counter and asking for advice. Good luck!
