Are there any at-home spectroscopy experiments to determine the makeup of light?

Well, I think the easiest thing you can do is shine light through a prism, which will separate the light by wavelength and you should be able to determine what frequencies the light has. If you do this in a dark room and shine a flashlight versus an LED, you should see a difference. If you have access to a sodium lamp, that too will give you different spectra. If the street lamps in your area are yellowish, then it is probably a sodium lamp. Are there any at-home spectroscopy experiments to determine the makeup of light?
Here's a web page with some hints.
