What makeup to wear with a really light yellow prom dress?

my prom dress is this really, really light yellow color and i have no idea what type of makeup to do to match it. should i just do something really natural and fresh-faced instead of trying to match the color?What makeup to wear with a really light yellow prom dress?
I love yellow, but not on me because I hate how it looks on me. My cousin wore a yellow grad dress and we did a pastel colors it looked so pretty. She wore pastel pink , pastel green, and glitter it looked so pretty for her eyeshadow. She looked like a fairy! It really depends on your skin color. I would go with light colors and I think glitter looks great on everybody.It really just depends on your personal style and likes and dislikes. Will you be doing your makeup yourself or getting it done? If your getting it done I would recommend bare essectuals or mac.

You can wear black eyeliner, and wear mascara. You can try to find gold eyeshadow, or silver. You should also apply blush, and try to make it look like you have rosy cheeks. Im not good at eyeshadow colors, lmao :D
use a yellowish-gold eyeshadow to go with they yellow in the dress. use a bit of brown eyeliner. curl your lashes and put on mascara. keep it simple. the eyeshadow would really pop against the dress though. :D
i say u go for brown eyeshadow. very dark on bottom, dark in the middle and light at the top. then u use classic black mascara and a light pink lip stick/gloss. pink blush!!! and make sure u have a tan and you'll look fabulous!!!
Don't match the color. Use bronze colors, and use a very very small amount of purply eyeshadow to accent your eyes (It will be complimentary to the dress.)
