How to wear light makeup??

i have really gorgeous green eyes, and i have thick lips, and those two things are my best features on my face. how can i enhance them, without wearing alot of makeup? my family always tells me that i wear too much makeup, and alls it is is black eyeliner, and dark brown mascara.

Green eyes can be made very pretty with, oddly enough, some light green eyeshadow. Purple %26amp; brown also work. If you're not really up for the whole bold eyeshadow color idea, try lining your lids with brown or green eyeliner.

for lips i would say just go with light pink or clear lip gloss. for eyes go with brown eyeliner not black to make it less dramatic. if you are wearing foudation then you could mix it with lotion to lighten it up a little.
Hi! For your pretty green eyes I would try plum colors. A light pastel plum all over from the lash line to brown bone with a deeper plum in the crease (where your eyelid meets your brown bone). Next, put an off-white ';highlighter'; color just below your brown bone. Blend, blend, and then blend somemore to get the natural look you want. The eyeshadow should look seemless like it runs together. Finish it off with dark plum eyeliner and two coats of dark brown or black mascara.





For your lips I would try a neutral ip liner that is close to your natural lip color (maybe one shade darker) and a pretty gloss that is either light plum or light pink.

you can always use brown eyeliner/mascara so your eyes will still POP but not so much with the black look. also stick to natural colered eyeshadow. maybe a medium brown or darker green. hey its better than really dark. and as for your lips, just use a gloss to make them shine.
ok, get a felt tip brown or gray eyeliner from walmart, physicians formula is the best, and just line the very outer parts of your eye starting from the middle out. (brown and gray are more natural looking than black, which is very harsh, espeically next to light eyes). wear a little bit of brown mascara and lip balm. if you have thick lips you don't need to accentuate them with lipgloss or lipstick. if you use it make sure its in a neutral color, that will really make your eyes pop.
