If you like looking the way you do with dark makeup then keep it that way. And they should not even be calling you an emo just because of your dark makeup. Emo's have the clothes, accessories (and not the cheap ones' from Claire's), listen to screamo and all of that. I wear dark makeup and yet no one calls me that because they know my personality.
I keep it that way, and I like it so if you like your dark makeup and don't wanna change it then don't.
